Helixteus 3 Alpha v0.29 (13 Dec 2023)


- Completely removed building and megastructure construction time (and all speedup items too)
- Overhauled the ship travel minigame. It remains a bullet hell, but now you attack enemies with your ship weapons (bullet, laser etc.). Right now the difficulty is constant regardless of where you are in the game, but this will probably change later
- Give backgrounds to planet, system, and universe view
- Make galaxies and clusters take up less storage space
- New UI for stars in system view to make viewing and constructing things around them easier
- When conquering all planets in a system, if there are more than 12 enemies, you now only fight the 12 strongest enemies
- On big planets with lots of auroras, use static images to display auroras instead of particles to reduce lag
- Use multithreading for collecting boring machine resources to reduce lag spikes
- Fixed resource production increase miscalculation when upgrading CBD's 2nd path (time speed bonus)
- Fixed overlay displaying incorrect colors
- Fixed not being able to destroy greenhouses

Great update!

Noticed a few things:

- Boring machines don't seem to update in-game at all, only retroactively when loading the game after some time has passed
- Ship-to-ship combat seems to be broken completely; the enemy ships turn just hangs without the enemies ever attacking.
- When terraforming a planet for atrmosphere extraction with reactor/cellulose producers, the energy and cellulose production are not updated until the planet is upgraded
